The governing body of Weedon Bec Primary School meets four times a year. The dates of future meetings are available from the school office on request. 

An agenda for the full governor meetings is available from the school office one week prior to a meeting and the minutes are available on request.

Our chair of governors is Helen Gilligan.

Governor Applications

Did you know that supporting our amazing staff and pupils in all schools is a team of fantastic governors, who volunteer their time to ensure all of our pupils receive the best education possible?

Local governing boards meet formally four times a year, with plenty of opportunities to come into school in between for monitoring visits. No prior experience in the education sector is required and training is provided - did you know that becoming a school governor could provide invaluable experience for your CV and that many workplaces allow staff to take time off throughout the year for volunteering?

Many of our schools currently have vacancies for co-opted governors. To find out more about what’s involved, please speak to your school leader in the first instance, or fill out this form.
